National Hot Sauce Day is approaching, and this year El Yucateco is celebrating talented home chefs across the country.
More people than ever are cooking at home right now. Hot sauce is one of the best ways to pump up weekday meals with flavor and excitement, but avoid added calories. From a simple dash of Jalapeño Sauce on your eggs to an elaborate meal inspired by traditional cuisine from the Yucatán, home cooks are creating some fantastic dishes.

In addition to the competition, El Yucateco is making a donation to Feeding America, in honor of National Hot Sauce Day, equivalent to the value of 5,000 bottles of its famous Mexican hot sauce.
